The position description is as follows:
CVOR/HVI CLINICAL DIRECTOR
1. Must have BSN; Master’s highly desired with 5 years of progressive clinical leadership experience in a Peri-Operative HVI setting (Preference in Level 1 Trauma and Teaching hospital). Clinical experience must be in open heart surgeries.
2. Must have Professional Certification in a clinical area or management
3. Must have been a scrub and/or circulator nurse in HVI setting; this is a working Clinical Director role and will be expected to participate in all cases.
4. Must have knowledge and experience in all of the following aspects: OR, SPD, Perfusion, AT and PACU
The Clinical Director will be responsible for 15 to 20 FTEs, 6 CVOR rooms, 6 cases daily. This is a new facility and has attracted major CV physicians to perform surgeries at this HVI Institute.
